My story started out in South Africa, where I grew up in Durban on the East Coast, and my childhood was completely unplugged - a time before the internet, cell phones, iPads. Most of the time was spent at the beach, or at home where our parents kicked us outside the back door and left us to play. I have such fond memories of this time and it is these memories I draw on when I’m at my family shoot sessions - I want to capture those candid childhood moments so that these memories are frozen in a picture story for everyone to enjoy in years to come.

My style is natural and relaxed; I like to capture those candid moments so that you can look back and treasure those memories forever. I make use of natural light in order to achieve soft, gorgeous portraits that feel genuine.

Since those early days in South Africa I have been lucky enough to travel the world and live in many different countries - US, UK, Qatar and now Dubai, and it was through seeing these different places and experiencing these different cultures that my love of photography evolved. I started out with only a basic DSLR camera, a love of photography and an interest in people, and it’s taken me on this incredible journey where I’ve met so many diverse people of different nationalities from all walks of life. I feel honoured to be allowed this snapshot into my client’s daily lives, to capture thoughtful moments and stolen looks of joy, love, and happiness.
